Welcome to UNISON Aberdeenshire Branch.

UNISON Aberdeenshire
Our membership is now
2,775

UNISON is the trade union representing staff in the Aberdeenshire Council and amongst various voluntary sector organisations and other public sector employers.

Although we are called Aberdeenshire, we have members throughout Scotland. This is because employers, such as Cornerstone, Inspire and The Meat Hygiene Service operate Scotland wide and all their employees who wish to join UNISON have been placed with us.

We negotiate for better pay and conditions, help individuals in trouble and campaign for a safer, fairer society. UNISON is Britain's biggest union, representing more than 1.3 million people across the UK's public services.

Find out more about what the branch has been doing for you by clicking on the Branch Activity section on the left side of this page. It will tell you more about the branch's work on behalf of members at a local and Scottish level.

UNISON is committed to equality for all and members have set up "self-organised groups" for those traditionally under-represented, to make sure that everyone has a voice in the union. For more information, click on Equalities on the left side of the page or the logo on the right.
